Our Team

Our team spent over two decades working side by side in a company that grew from a small startup to being acquired by one of the top software companies in the world. Through this experience and life’s twists and turns, we became more than colleagues; we became family. Our shared experiences throughout that journey and our deep connections forged a bond that supports us through challenges and celebrates our successes. This bond has made us better people. Although we all come from different backgrounds, by sharing our diverse ideas, spiritual learnings, and perspectives, we have enriched each other’s lives and expanded our ways of thinking. After the acquisition of our old company, we found ourselves looking for a way to preserve this bond and to share our experience with others in a way that may improve their lives through diversity and sharing of ideas.

We created Naveem as a company dedicated to improving people’s well-being. Through our experience, we believe in the power of community and the strength that comes from helping one another. Our vision is rooted in the idea that when individuals come together, they can create a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters personal growth and collective well-being. By sharing our unique spiritual journeys and diverse backgrounds, we aim to build a community where everyone feels valued and empowered. Through mutual support and collaboration, we believe we can make a positive impact on the world, one connection at a time.

Humphrey Christian

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Hi, I am Humphrey and I started my spiritual journey at a young age when I was exposed to my family’s diverse beliefs and practices in Yoruba, Christianity, Clairvoyance and Mediumship. This early exposure built the basis for my own spiritual exploration later in my life which drove me to experience diverse cultures and practices including Yoga, which had a profound impact in my life. Through the practice of Yoga and meditation I have come to understand the concept of union that underpins all spiritual practices. The drive to bring the idea of Naveem to life comes from my deep belief that spirituality is a transformative journey that should be embraced and shared by all.

Before co-founding Naveem, I served in a number of engineering, product management, consulting, and field leadership roles, most recently as the Field Chief Technology Officer at a global cyber security software company. In this role, I focused on building relationships with customers and partners around the world to provide solutions that would protect them not just today, but into the future. I also hold 3 issued patents in data analytics and cyber risk that are currently being leveraged in major business software solutions. This comprehensive and diverse background makes me a leader that understands what it takes to turn a vision into a reality that ensures all stakeholders’ needs are met.

My extensive background in technology and leadership, coupled with my spiritual background helps me drive Naveem forward. With your help Naveem will become a platform that provides seekers with a dedicated place to explore various spiritual practices while connecting with a vibrant community that fosters personal connections and supports spiritual growth.

Jean Lau

Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer

Hi, I’m Jean. Growing up immersed in a blend of Taoism, Buddhism, and Christianity profoundly shaped my early life, providing a rich tapestry of beliefs and practices that influenced my worldview. As I explored different traditions and philosophies, I embarked on a path of self-discovery and spiritual growth. My spiritual journey has been one of continuous learning and introspection. I’ve sought wisdom from various traditions, participated in diverse practices, and engaged in meaningful conversations with spiritual leaders. These experiences revealed that despite cultural differences, all spiritual teachings aim to help those in need. Meeting people from various backgrounds and engaging with their unique perspectives further enriched my understanding of spirituality. I started to see common threads and universal truths in the teachings of different belief systems. This observation sparked a deep curiosity within me: Could these shared truths be the key to connecting us all on a deeper level? This question became a guiding force and ultimately inspired the creation of Naveem.

Before co-founding Naveem, I served as the Chief Operating Officer of a leading social media marketing agency. My strategic vision and operational expertise were pivotal in driving the company’s rapid growth and industry leadership. Simultaneously, I ran my own consulting agency, guiding emerging and growth-stage businesses in defining clear organizational goals and developing robust strategic growth plans. Throughout my career, I have consistently focused on enhancing customer experiences, driving operational excellence, and fostering innovation. This diverse background has given me a keen understanding of the challenges our practitioners and merchants are likely to face.
